I have been working as a maternity nurse for many years, spanning over two decades.

My working life began, as a cadet nurse, before going on to general nursing training.

After five years in a hospital environment, I travelled to Europe working and living with families in Geneva and Paris, caring for newborn babies.  This helped me gain a speaking knowledge of another language as well as living within other cultures, before returning to the UK to continue the same.
